Applying to German university can be a handful task if you are not thorough with the process hence we decided to make a video which shall describe all the important points to keep in mind while to Universities in Germany. In a majority of German universities application is processed through Uni-assist. Uni-assist is an online application portal that evaluates your profile, checks the eligibility criteria for your application and also process your application to the university once the verification from their is completed.
In my conversation with Ms.Ekaterina who has worked with Uni-assist for couple of years, she shared a lot of important tips that one should keep in mind while applying to German universities through Uni-assist. The important tips are:
1. Notarized documents - All the application documents should be uploaded on Uni-assist and their hard copies needs to be notarized from notary advocates or from German embassy as well.
2. Application Deadline - Usually the application deadline for Summer intake in Germany is 15th January & for Winter intake its 15 July. However for Master's the application deadline varies from university to university, so it's better to check on the university's website.
3. Application processing time - The application processing time for Uni-assist is generally 4-6 weeks. So we should always apply as soon as the university application process starts. You can also contact uni-assist in case you don't get any response from them.
4. Documents checklist - Documents checklist is very important as German university and Uni-assist are very particular about each of the required documents. If any of the required documents is missing then your application might get rejected as well.
5. Mandatory Documents (1 CV, 2 LOR, 1 SOP)
It is always recommend to your share your bachelors grading system while applying to a master's degree in Germany.
