On September 12, 2019, the Shirley C. Heim Middle School staff and faculty challenged all the schools in Stafford County to Blanco Brown’s “The Git Up Challenge.” Since their initial video, Anne E. Moncure Elementary, North Stafford High School, Rodney E. Thompson Middle School, and the Alvin York Bandy Administrative Complex accepted the challenge with their own rendition of this popular line dance spun from a new genre of music: country rap.
