Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu attended the National Safety Awards (Mines), organised by the Director General of Mines Safety and Ministry of Labour & Employment, in New Delhi on Dec 17. Addressing the event, VP Naidu said, “Recent instances of violence, especially destruction of public property, are a cause for great concern. Violence is not a solution to any problem. We must desist from obstructive and destructive activities and focus on constructive initiatives that will take our nation forward.”
