Cannot Interact With New Tower Obelisk - Saint 14 Tower Obelisk Quest Approach Tower Obelisk Glitch

There currently appears to be a bug with the tower obelisk for season of dawn in destiny 2. When trying to approach the tower obelisk for the quest step there is no option to do so. I cannot complete the tower obelisk quest because i cannot approach it. How to approach the tower obelisk and complete the quest from saint-14 to unlock the obelisk in the tower.
