Cyclone Sarai Forms; Heavy Rain moving over Fiji - December 27th, 5am FJT

Cyclone Sarai forms just to the north and west of Fiji, and it is expected to pass close to Viti Levu as it intensifies to near hurricane status over the next 24 hours.



No CDPS rating is currently projected for this storm, as no landfall is expected. However, 200mm of rain is still expected over Viti Levu as the storm passes by.
