Hunting The Migration Route | 2019 Wyoming Mule Deer (Ep. 2)

Randy Newberg is up early to drive out to his hunting area hoping to locate a nice buck. This time of year, weather depending, the mule deer historically migrate through a corridor out to their winter range.

The deer's winter range is a landscape gridded with oil and gas roads, so Randy's strategy is to take advantage of roads to cover a large area. So he goes from spot to spot covering as much country as possible and using his optics to pick apart the landscape. Randy is seeing deer, he just needs to find a mature buck worth hanging his tag on.
