I-vi-IV-V played using Diminished 7s

Was experimenting with the standard I-vi-V-V progression today morning. This progression was a result of simply using standard music theory principles and I practically made it on paper first without giving it a listen. And it does sound nice, although the dim7 chords might seem a tad bit repetitive to certain ears. Thought i'd share with you guys too so that you may get some ideas on how to reharmonize yr standard boring progressions to make them some a little spicy

Chord Progression Used - Cmaj7| Abdim7 Am7 | Edim7 Fmaj9 | G7 | C Gbdim7 | C Adim7 | C Ebdim7 | C6

Concepts Used -
1. Ascending dim7 half step cadence
2. Parallel major and dim 7 cadence
3. Different voicings of the C dim7. Gbdim, Adim and Ebdim are all inversions of the Cdim7
