Yuli Riswati, an Indonesian domestic worker who covered the Hong Kong protests as a citizen journalist was deported on December 2. She was arrested in September for overstaying her visa, which expired in July. Her supporters accused the Hong Kong government of sending her home for reporting on the civil unrest.
