Police Crackdown In Jamia Millia, Aligarh Universities: SC To Consider Pleas Tomorrow | Mathrubhumi

New Delhi: The Supreme Court said it would consider a plea seeking an inquiry into the police crackdown in Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim Universities, tomorrow. The Chief Justice of India said that spearheading violence and destroying public property in the name of protest cannot be accepted. The Delhi High Court today dismissed a plea against police action in Jamia Millia Islamia University.
