He immediately sent me to a consultant and that afternoon they diagnosed me with having cancer. I had Hodgkin lymphoma.’  ‘They said you had six months to live?’ asked a shocked Saira Khan.  ‘Yes, it was horrific, yes,’ Claude replied.  Lord Sugar’s aide went onto say that from then on, he embarked on a ‘number of years of trauma’ until it was discovered that his sister was a stem cell match.  ‘After many years of chemotherapy, which was very difficult to sustain, they found that my sister was a stem cell match, so her stem cells were transplanted into me,’ he continued.  ‘I’m very, very lucky.’  Viewers were completely moved by Claude’s story and went on to praise him for being so open on social media.  ‘  Echoing a similar sentiment, another added: ‘Very touched by your health story (was actually misty-eyed). As a fellow cancer survivor, I salute you Mr Littner. Brilliant interview! Happy Christmas to you and your family.’  Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30 on I and The Apprentice final airs on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
