That is to be included in the blessings of the supplication of the Prophet ﷺ for the seeker of knowledge. Let us not shy away from learning no matter the circumstance. Be it age, time, lack of foundation of knowledge, negative environment, or anything else, hard work and perseverance return large dividends. As Imam Shafi (RA) said in the poem, one who is seeking knowledge and striving on the path, cannot be equal to one who isn’t.
