A mother-of-two who was ravaged by severe flaky skin caused by steroid withdrawal has revealed veganism ‘reversed’ her skin back to good health.

Jennifer Pierce, 36, had spent 15 years using steroid cream to clear up her eczema but after the birth of her daughter Pixley, now four, she stopped using it and her skin worsened.

The stay-at-home mum suffered with severe itching, burning sensations and flaky skin as a result of topical steroid withdrawal.

She was forced to quit her job because she was covered in head to toe and constantly itching.
