Phil Foden was brilliant, Gabriel Jesus was exceptionally deadly and Benjamin Mendy found his form on a class night for Pep Guardiola’s men away at Dinamo Zagreb. City won 4-1 despite going behind to an early Olmo goal. Gabriel Jesus grabbed himself a hat-trick as he was fed excellently all night by the rampaging left side of Benjamin Mendy and Phil Foden. The ‘Stockport Iniesta’ got the goal his performance deserved late on too. There was also a cameo for 17 year old Man City fan Taylor Harwood-Bellis, plus a start for the talented young defender Eric Garcia. Mahrez and Bernardo Silva grabbed assists too with Zinchenko also returning to action with a second half sub appearance.
