Here is recipe of Kala Tal Ni Sani / Kachariyu (કાળા તલ ની સાની - કચરિયું), which is very popular recipe from Zalavad (Surendranagar district) - Gujarat. This is very healthy and mostly preferred during winter.
Ingredients:
100 GRAMS BLACK SESAME SEEDS (કાળા તાલ)
6 TS SESAME SEEDS OIL (તલનું તેલ)
100 GRAMS KOLHAPURI GUD (JAGGERY) (ગોળ)
2 TS COCONUT POWDER AND FEW COCONUT SLICES (કોપરાનો પાવડર)
5/6 ALMONDS (CUT INTO FLAKES) (બદામ)
1 TS GINGER POWDER (સૂંઠ)
2/3 DATES (ખજુર)
Method:
Crush black sesame seeds in mixer.
Add 2 TS sesame oil in crushed sesame seeds and mix again in mixer.
Add 2 TS sesame oil, ginger powder and jaggery and mix it in mixer.
Now, take out mixture from mixer and lay it on a plate, press it by hands.
Garnish with coconut slices, almond flakes and dates.
