People take electrical items from people's homes.  "But who takes a child's vital medication? He had no right to take medication from a child.  "It was even more horrible to hear he has kids of his own and yet took our son's medication. And there was a load of food taken from the cupboard.  "We are glad it is all over now and he has been locked up. He showed remorse. But it is never going to change what he did and the loss of the sentimental items is heartbreaking.  "He was addicted to drugs and alcohol. But I just cannot understand why take a child's medication and then later threaten to set fire to our house. We had no insurance."  The mother said the medication has to be taken regularly and is vital to keep her son stable because of his acute conditio
