Hello everybody its Foxy speaking and yes in this video there was me 'Foxy' steadily and practically taking some walks in a few interesting places in Newport on the Isle of Wight in the afternoon on a freezing cold Monday 30th December 2019 for tremendous enjoyment :-). I know a great many of you would be thinking I did this walk with my stepgrandfather Edmund (born 1946) and my grandmother (born 1948) but no I did it by myself which is ok :-). Edmund was in Newport with me on that day but was resting in the pub because sadly poor Edmund can't do the long distance walks anymore as he hasn't got the strength now and that he's gone really downhill over the past year with a case of Thrombocytopenias :-(. Well poor Edmund hasn't been very healthy for the past 20 odd years of his life you see everybody because he has a bad heart poor man because about 20 odd years ago Edmund suffered a severe heart attack and underwent quadruple bypass surgery! :-O. Which is one of the biggest bypasses you can get in reality after suffering a heart attack :-/. But when the surgeons finished doing the work on Edmund's bypass they accidently damaged his esophagus when the surgery was over :-(. So for a long time Edmund can't swallow as well as he used so eating and drinking is really isn't his enjoyment and can sometimes be a displeasure for him too :-(. He does eat but he hasn't been eating very much for the past 20 odd years but only eats about a child's portion at the very biggest per meal he has :-/. He's fine mentally though and despite his bad heart he was still taking lots of long walks regularly until at somepoint in 2019 as his heart is giving way a bit :-/. It is sad but its one of these things that can happen sadly :-(. Oh well. But I don't mind taking long walks on my own as I can be seen taking fairly long walks in some parts of the Brighton and Hove regional areas and elsewhere :-). Including the Isle of Wight :-).
