Iran news: US air force show off F35 fighter jet power as Trump warns Iran

The US Air Force put on a huge display of jet fighter power as Iran promised to respond "proportionately" to the assassination of Qasem Soleimani.

Relations between the US and Iran have been tense after General Soleimani was killed in a US drone attack in Baghdad last week.

President Donald Trump warned that his country was ready to strike back in a “disproportionate” manner if the Iranians hit US targets.

Around 400 UK troops are stationed in Iraq in the fight against IS, while the US has 5,200.
