I want America to be better," she said. McGowan further said her tweet was "unusual", adding, "I woke up, I stupidly looked at Twitter...and...was like, 'what?'."

A website run by a US government agency was breached and defaced by hackers claiming to be Iranian. The hack appeared to be a retaliation for the airstrike conducted by the US which killed Iranian Major-General Qassem Soleimani. A message on the website read "in the name of God" and depicted US President Donald Trump being punched by Revolutionary Guard.
