Hi, friends Ather Energy has launched 450X electric scooters in Plus and Pro trims. Ather 450X Plus costs ₹1.49 lakh while top-end 450X Pro gets a price tag of ₹1.59 lakh. Ather Energy is also offering above mentioned trims as performance packs with monthly subscription charges. So, if you want to opt for the subscription payment plan, then the scooter will cost ₹99,000 plus optional subscription charges of ₹1,699/month for Plus pack and ₹1,999/month for Pro pack. Also, thanks to subsidies, Ather 450X will cost ₹85,000 in Delhi instead of ₹99,000. All the prices are ex-showroom. Ather 450X is 450's sportier cousin and gets a plethora of new features as compared to its sibling. Another major difference between the two Ather scooters is that unlike 450, which is available only in Bengaluru and Chennai, the 450X will be available in four other cities -- Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

Ather 450X: Features
Ather 450X gets a seven-inch touchscreen that offers all the necessary readouts and much more. This console gets an Android-based open-source operating system for features like map navigation and on-board diagnostics. There's also built-in Bluetooth that allows riders to play music and notification for incoming calls. The company has also equipped 450X's console with 4G connectivity via an inbuilt e-sim card. Ather 450X also gets three different riding modes -- Eco, Ride, and Sport--each of which adjust the performance of the scooter to optimize the range. There's also a new Warp mode which allows the scooter to go from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.29 seconds. Ather will also offer a new smart helmet and tyre pressure sensor as accessories with 450X.
Other notable features available on 450X include a park assist system with reverse and forward mode, illuminated under-seat boot with 22-liters of storage capacity and regenerative braking. The EV also gets a dedicated app that allows riders to find a charging station, vehicle statistics, save locations, and even store documents.

Ather 450X: Specs
Ather 450X gets an all-new IP67 rated 2.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a belt-driven hub motor. This combination delivers a maximum of 8 bhp and 26 Nm of peak torque. Tipping the scales at 108 kg, the 450X is also 10 kg lighter than regular 450. This has allowed the scooter to attain a top speed of 80 km/h and offer a true riding range of 85 km on a single charge (in Eco mode).

Ather 450X's battery can be charged up to 80 percent in an hour and DC fast charging can charge the battery at 1.5 km per minute as opposed to 1 km per minute on 450.
