He is shy and yet not able to speak Urdu Properly so I asked Questions in easy way.
Akif told that he was Tape Ball Player Cricketer in Karak. His friends suggested him that he can play Quality Hard Ball Cricket. So he got permission by his mother & brother and shifted to Peshawar where his Coach Irfan Babbu developed him with passion and dedication. Ali Zia & Saqib Faqir selected him and then he seen NCA where Mohsin Kamal, Rao Iftikhar and Mudassar Nazar shaped him like a Professional Cricketer and he Selected for Islamabad United. He disclosed that Shoaib Akhtar is his mentor and he started Fast Bowling after watching bowling of Shoaib Akhtar.
Akif Jvaed told that his ultimate goal is to Play for Pakistan and during PSL he will prove that he is able to play World Cup even.
Akif told that Head Coach Misbah ul Haq and Bowling Coach Waqar Younis always motivated him and their motivation energize me that I can get my Goal.
Akif praised Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir too that they both instruct me the bowling tricks he especially acknowledged Mohammad Amir supported him a lot to learn art of Fast bowling
People Say that Sifarush Culture destroying Pakistan Cricket but this Young Man reached Islamabad United from Karak without any sifarush. Hard Work with passion is Key to success and I always say that NO:1 seat is always vacant but only hard worker and passionate person can sit on such seat, so work hard and be No:1 instead blaming others.
