Redesigning L'empereur step 2: Shapes (noob continues learning Inkscape)

Today I am trying to continue my a graphic redesign of the board / tabletop campaign game L'empereur by Albert Walton (Tabletop Games, 1992). I know there is a redesigned newer version (Combined Arms, 2013) which can still be bought. But I fancied, I use this as a learning thing, just for personal use. Hope you enjoy!
