Don't suppress your child/young sibling just to get control over them, they are learning. Suppression for longer-term results in depression
especially when they become an adult and suddenly the parent's expectations are changed from them. Surprisingly one day same parents expect them to take control and be confident whereas they unknowingly conditioned their child/sibling mind to this level.
