A torpedo-to-air missile is said to have shot down a Ukrainian bomber that took off from Tehran airport in Iran . Thor operates in 11 countries, including Iran, which reportedly supplied 29 Thor missiles to Iran in 2007. The Army Thor missile system is equipped with radar and vertical launchers on armored vehicles that can shoot down medium to high aircraft that can not be intercepted by anti-aircraft guns. Thor missiles weigh 167 kg, length 3 m, warhead weight 15 kg, maximum speed Mach 2.8, minimum range 1.5 km, maximum range 12 km, maximum altitude 6 km and maximum maneuver 30G.
