Toilet Making Loud Noise

Toilet Making Loud Noise Toilet making a loud noise? A common complaint from my customers, especially those with more modern toilets which feature quick closing fill valves. Older large water volume toilets used a ball at the end of a brass rod attached to a piston which gradually cut down the flow of water as it filled.

Most modern toilets use a quick closing style fill valve a.k.a. (Fluidmaster) which shut abruptly causing a loud banging noise. If your home has excessively high water pressure, this could damage the pipes inside your walls. Fortunately, Sioux-Chief has a solution to this very common problem.

Toilet making a loud noise? Be sure to watch this video for the solution to the banging toilet mystery. This inexpensive addition to the inlet of the toilet fill valve could save you big bucks in future repairs!

Happy Plumbing!
