A few people have used the space above the Nether to make custom dimensions. But why just 1? In this concept, the new “dimensions” are layered above each other as a black concrete box hides things! Right now there is the Moon and Mars (which is a bit off. The sun is a bit too low to the ground at the moment), but there should be space for more! Maybe even 2 more. I don’t know how to do random terrain generation though, but if I did, these planets wouldn’t be flat. Also there seems to be a problem with spawning, maybe cause of the lack of light.
