The new coronavirus panic in South Korea continues to grow with hundreds of additional cases being reported in recent days. 144 new cases were confirmed on February 25, bringing the total to 977, and 2 more death reported for 10 deaths in total. With over 700 confirmed cases being from Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, the government announced it will take “maximum containment” measures in the region. In addition, more foreign countries are placing tighter travel restrictions to passengers from South Korea.
