Is the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE a REAL performance SUV?

The ALL NEW Toyota Highlander XSE was just unveiled and it has some interesting performance upgrades. Under the hood is a 3.5L V6 producing 295HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Highlander XSE features exterior upgrades to create a more aggressive look. It's suspension has been upgraded to give more feedback and better handing. On the inside the XSE features it's own unique red interior. Is the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE really a Highlander TRD without the badging?
