JS Proputec case Danish Crown by-product transportation

JS Proputec A/S installation of LAP200 Lamella pump and infeed hopper with pneumatic lid. Installation complete with PLC programming and controls.

Until May 2016, soft production by products (guts etc.) were filled in tubs, which were raised by a lift to ceiling and from here poured into a silo outside the building for storage. This process demanded maintenance of the lift and caused a great deal of bad odor.

The JS solution kept the by-product in a closed system as the pump can transport the raw materials without any adding of water. The solution has not cost anything in maintenance as of Jan 2020 as no spares are replaced.
