Kwanghee once wanted to make his face looks like Donghae.
Super Junior's Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Shindong appeared on the 444th episode of MBC's 'Weekly Idol,' which aired on January 29th. During the episode, they introduced various unit groups derived from Super Junior.
When introducing Eunhyuk and Donghae's unit group, Super Junior-D&E, they introduced the unit as Super Junior's main visual and main dancer.
MC Jo Seho called Donghae as the 'Original Visual Genius' and praised his unchanged visuals. At Jo Seho's words, MC Kwanghee chimed in, "In the early 2000s, Donghae was already famous among trainees.
Trainees of other agencies said, 'There is a very famous trainee at SM Entertainment. His name is Lee Donghae. If you want to get accepted to SM Entertainment, you should have that visual like Donghae.'"
Kwanghee continued, "I wanted to have the same visual as Donghae. So, I get his photo and went to a cosmetic surgery hospital. I showed his picture and told the doctor that I wanted to do surgeries to make my face like his."
The other MCs then asked, "So what did the doctor say?"
Kwanghee replied with a smile, "The doctor said, 'Then you could die (because of too many surgeries needed).'
