Needles!! We are always afraid of them, yes,even type 1 diabetics who have to keep pricking themselves to take insulin injections or to test their blood are afraid of needles.
People have told me they are afraid of carrying around a cannula so they are not fond of having an insulin pump.
Many others have been quite curious about my canula and it has been mistaken for a smokers patch or something else too!
So, here i go showing you all how i change my cannula every three days. It's quite simple.. and once you get used to it it's quite easy to do too.
