Meghan Markle and Prince Harry broke the Guinness world record in 2019 for tallying up one million followers on the platform in the space of five hours and 45 minutes. Their failure to gather more followers than Kate Middleton and Prince William has been dubbed the “biggest royal watching mysteries of recent times” by fans.
After the conspiracy theory was brought to the surface, representatives for both couples denied any manipulation of figures had taken place.
But some royal fans are convinced something is going on.

Another curious Twitter user with the handle @brenbrenchie wrote: “Kensington royal is clearly manipulating the numbers.
