#MintIIS: Nitin Gadkari on not depending on Budget, preventing Rs 3 lakh cr NPA Union minister Nitin Gadkari attended the Mint India Investment Summit and Awards, 2020. After his speech, he participated in an engaging conversation with Mint's Associate Editor Deborshi Chaki. Gadkari, who holds the road transport and highways, and micro, small and medium enterprises portfolios, spoke frankly about the ongoing slowdown, and the government's aim to make India's economy worth $5 trillion in 5 years. He said that greater focus is needed in the rural and agricultural sectors, and a mindset to convert problems into opportunities is required.
