This deal guarantees Primera Division players a minimum annual salary of €16,000 as well as paid holiday and maternity leave among other benefits.
Spain’s minimum wage of approximately €12,600 a year for 2019, but they are significantly lower than the average wage of Spanish workers which is €23,000.
Though they had agreed on minimum full-time player salaries of €16,000, the ACFF's main gripe was with the request for part-time player salaries to be €12,000, rather than the €8,000 currently.
