Trump Thanks U.S. Troops for Service After Administration Signs Peace Deal With Afghan Taliban

Trump confirmed a peace deal with the Afghan Taliban to end the Afghanistan War, describing the 29-country effort to bring U.S. troop levels down to around 8,000.

Trump then thanked his defense advisers, U.S. troops, and American citizens, before praising the "tremendous success of killing terrorists" in Afghanistan.
