We continue our examination of Section 4.4.6 of "A Simple Introduction to Particle Physics Part II - Geometric Foundations of Relativity." In this lesson we tackle the nagging issue regarding the fact that in Riemann Normal Coordinates the symmetric first derivative of the connection is zero. This simplification has a profound effect on the segment of the proof we have just finished studying. Almost all of the material in this section is algebra, but we work with many of the formulas we have worked so hard to learn.
