Typhoon Kammuri (Tisoy) likely to have ‘direct effect’ on SEA Games venues

Some sports venues for the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games might feel the “direct effect” of Typhoon Kammuri on December 3 and 4, the state weather bureau said.

The state weather bureau also said Kammuri is packing maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph.

The typhoon was moving northwest at 10 kph.
