Singaporeans can now use their NETS ATM cards to pay over 7,400 merchants in Malaysia

Cross-border shopping just got easier in parts of Malaysia and Singapore, with a new way to pay. Singaporeans can now use their NETS ATM cards while Malaysians can do the same with their MyDebit ATM cards. This was made possible following a partnership between Singapore electronic payment service provider NETS and its Malaysian counterpart PayNet. The two payment services said it is part of a plan to link up real-time payment systems in ASEAN economies.
