Police hunting a suspected peeping Tom have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to - who is said to look like David Beckham. Officers say they are investigating reports a mobile phone was held underneath the door of a toilet cubicle while a 20-year-old woman was inside. The incident took place at a building on University Road, Leicester, at 5.50pm on December 9 last year. Leicestershire Police have released a CCTV still of a man who social media users say looks uncannily like former England football star David Beckham. Twitter user Kate Foley said: "Just did a double-take! Cops hunting Peeping Tom want to track down David Beckham lookalike. Hope police catch the perv. "Fellow user and Leicester City fan Paulsie tweeted: "Watch out for this toilet sleaze bag. U-bend it like Beckham! "Writing on Facebook, Oli Hanlon said: "Blurry pic but gotta say he looks just like Becks. Get him caught!" The suspected man is not named David Beckham. A police spokesperson said: "Officers investigating a report of voyeurism in Leicester have released an image of a man they want to identify. "The incident took place at around 5.50pm on Monday 9 December inside a premises in University Road. "The victim, a 20-year-old woman, was inside a toilet cubicle when a mobile phone was held underneath the door. "Officers would like to speak to the man pictured as they believe he may have information about what happened."
