Greens 'all about the government ownership of the means of production'

Greens 'all about the government ownership of the means of production' Sky News host Rowan Dean says Greens leader Adam Bandt’s tour of mining regions to promote ‘renewable mining’ is “virtue signalling, it’s ridiculous economics, it’s Marxism, and it won’t work”.

Greens leader Adam Bandt has planned to tour Queensland spruiking his green new deal with mining which includes shifting the mining sector towards lithium, and developing a zero carbon manufacturing industry based off ‘green steel’.

Green steel, Mr Dean said is simply “second hand steel” which gets melted down and reused, but to create steel “from scratch you have to have coal”.

Mr Dean told Sky News host Paul Murray Mr Bandt is “a Marxist [and] he studied Marxism at university,” while the Greens as a party are “all about the government ownership of the means of production; that’s what they want”.

Fellow panelist Graham Richardson said Mr Bandt is a “total goose [and] a total fool”.
